Combating Leave Abuse

Leave abuse is one of the most costly issues facing employers. This program will:

• Examine the federal and state laws that affect employee attendance
• Review the types of leave offered by employers
• Determine when medical examinations are possible and desirable
• Discuss why medical exams do not always provide you with answers
• Teach supervisors how to monitor and control leave abuse
