Brett is experienced in labor negotiations, contract interpretation,
regulatory
compliance, research, grievance arbitration, and preparation of arbitration
briefs. Brett is also experienced in developing and implementing human resource
management systems including job descriptions, personnel polices and
procedures, performance evaluations, and other management tools. As a
consultant, he is responsible for analyzing clients' needs, managing
major projects, and developing solutions to client's personnel or labor
relations problems. Brett frequently advises clients regarding compliance
with regulations such as those related to the Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor
Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and drug and alcohol testing
issues. Brett received his J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and
his B.A. from The Ohio State University in Criminology.
